@Trames @macfranc Careful in talking about inclusivity. There are also BLIND people, like me, who are helped by llm tech to DESCRIBE IMAGES. I never share this "no llm policy" at all costs, not without a guaranteed alternative. Find me a RELIABLE human-centered community where you can send pics, or videos, 24 hours 7 days, and have IMMEDIATE response on what's in picture. If I agree on what concerns writing and correction, reality is more complex than that.
Yes, there's a service "be my eyes" which uses video-call volunteers; Aira as well, there are some. But nothing on photos, youtube links, video tutorials... Once we had a service, BeSpecular, which could help through a centralized server where volunteers received our pics and they described them by text or voice. But it disappeared with no explanation.
Now, that we have fediverse, with several decentralized solutions, I've found literally tons of people complaining about damages llm's do to the world, to human minds, etc. Everything right. But among these blah blah blah complaints, I've never heard someone saying "let's cooperate with blind folks to give them reliable community-based alternatives". Not damn one. -
@elettrona @Trames ok, ma perché ce lo dici in inglese?
