Today, the European Commission has launched new investigation against X under the DSA. We have taken investigative steps and suspect that X has not properly assessed and mitigated risk on Grok´s functionalities. This includes the risk of spreading illegal content in the EU, like fake sexual images and child abuse material.
 

We have also extended our on-going investigation on X, to evaluate whether X diligently assessed and mitigated all systemic risks associated with its recommender systems.

We need clarity, freedom and we have a right to the truth. I don't agree with X's hive, but please do not advocate for banning something based on "values". That is censorship.

Ban it based on laws, if applicable.

It would be great if EU maintained Rule of Law, unlike our friends across the pond.

@HennaVirkkunen I strongly welcome this decision. As I find this issue very pressing, i would like to know:
1. When will you make a decision about interim measures? I find it unacceptable to have this kind a crime committed and could imagine a temporary ban of the delinquent service beeing a great measure to mitigate harm done to the eu and its citizens.
2. when will there be a decision about non-compliance ? The investigation has been going on for over 2 years now and fines do not seem to help.
