@dantescanline @arkiuat maybe it's worth saying that the Attorney General of Minnesota in his press conference yesterday asked that people report illegal ICE behavior to the police. So ideally, everybody who was there would make a police report about the tear gas, which is clearly not being used for crowd control, but for revenge.

@dantescanline there’s something about the guy with his groceries just sprinting towards the danger that really gets me. Like, he was just going about his day but he’s gonna stop what he’s doing and run towards armed goons with no protection for himself.

The people of Minneapolis must be so completely exhausted but I hope they’re also really proud.

I’m becoming increasingly curious about the laws governing the release of a noxious chemical irritant in public, as the first group did to cover their escape. Not that I expect it would change their behaviour (they have clearly granted themselves an unqualified exemption from any reasonable limitations on their behaviour), but curious what I as protester might find myself charged with if I did the same.

But this is a relatively long video that starts with an SUV sort of vehicle stopping at an intersection in the middle of the intersection well sort of in the front of one of the crosswalks turning right away from the camera

Down the street that the car is parked turning away from, whistles start, and then over the span of about a minute? More and more people come and stop the ice vehicle in its tracks.

The yelling and screaming is remarkable and I personally had tears of both admiration and proto-despair

Apparently there is a second vehicle but I didn't see that because I'm watching this on my phone

But they are chased away and as they drive away they drop tear gas canisters
